PCT Day 2 - Aug 22

AM Update: slept amazing. Going to try and make it to Spinola Creek or Waptus Lake if feeling ambitious. Should be a lot cooler today.   

PM Update. Smoke is gone! Unfortunately it might rain in the morning 🙃 Today was HARD; 16 miles in 8hrs with 3.3k ft up and 3.8k down. Already in bed. Night!

Much dryer day. Reached the border around 9:30 and started heading back to Hart's Pass. 23 miles again today leaving 44.5 to my finish line at Rainy Pass.

Day 3-19

Am: Best night's sleep of this trip. My watch said restorative with a sleep score of 90; never seen that before. 10 mi to Stehekin bus. Afternoon: Was able to stop at the Stehekin Bakery which was wonderful! They had a GF/Vegan bar along with a Thai Noodle Salad which was incredible. The town of Stehekin is very small but cute. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed until the after the bus leaves so I'll miss the hot meal but I did buy an extra backpacking meal to cook. PM: I enjoyed the 1 hour of WiFi while it lasted 😅 Made it an extra 8 miles out of Stehekin for a daily total of 18. Only 11 miles to Rainy Pass
